Overview

RNDP-002 is a discovery-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by Kenai Therapeutics (formerly Ryne Bio) for the treatment of inherited and genetically driven subtypes of Parkinson's disease. As part of Kenai's pipeline of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived therapies, RNDP-002 leverages a proprietary platform to develop off-the-shelf cell replacement products. While the company's lead asset, RNDP-001, is focused on idiopathic Parkinson's disease, RNDP-002 is designed to address specific genetic forms of the condition. The program is also being explored for potential applications in the therapeutic areas of endocrinology and metabolic diseases, utilizing the same underlying iPSC technology to create specialized cell types.
