RNX-041

**RNX-041** is a locally administered, in-situ forming gel combination being developed by Reponex for inflammatory bowel disease, particularly pouchitis and Crohn's disease. It combines granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor with the antibiotics fosfomycin and metronidazole. The antibiotics are intended to reduce aerobic and anaerobic bacteria associated with intestinal inflammation, while GM-CSF is intended to augment macrophage and phagocyte activity and support mucosal healing. The formulation is delivered directly to inflamed intestinal or pouch tissue under endoscopic supervision or by enema.
