Overview

RO7283420 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to engage T cells for the targeted killing of leukemia cells. It simultaneously binds to CD3 on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and to a complex of HLA-A2 presenting the WT1 peptide on leukemia cells, thereby redirecting T cell cytotoxicity toward malignant cells expressing this target. The drug is being developed by Hoffmann-La Roche for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Its mechanism leverages immune system activation against cancer by bridging effector and target cells, representing an innovative approach in immuno-oncology[1][2][7][8].
