Overview

RO7445482 + RO7049389 + nucleos(t)ide is an investigational **triple combination antiviral regimen for chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection**. It combines RO7445482, a short interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to silence viral transcripts; RO7049389, a core protein allosteric modulator (CpAM) that disrupts HBV nucleocapsid assembly; and a background nucleos(t)ide analogue (NUC), which is a class of approved oral antiviral agents that inhibit HBV DNA polymerase and viral replication. The combination approach targets multiple steps in the HBV lifecycle to maximize antiviral efficacy and potentially achieve functional cure. Clinical trials have evaluated the safety and efficacy of this combination in adults with chronic HBV infection[1][2][3][5].
