Overview

RO7515629 is a bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) antibody developed by Roche. It targets both CD3 on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and HLA-G, an immune checkpoint molecule expressed on certain tumor cells. By binding to CD3, it stimulates T-cell activation, while inhibition of HLA-G aims to overcome tumor-induced immune suppression. The drug was investigated for its potential in treating advanced or metastatic solid tumors expressing HLA-G, including colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pancreatic adenocarcinoma, renal cell carcinoma (RCC), ovarian neoplasms, and other solid tumors. Clinical development reached Phase 1 but was discontinued due to sponsor decision unrelated to safety or efficacy[1][4][7].
