Gemfibrozil is a fibric acid derivative used to treat hyperlipidemia and is a potent inhibitor of the CYP2C8 enzyme. The combination is primarily studied to determine the impact of CYP2C8 inhibition on the pharmacokinetics of RO7795081, as RO7795081 is a substrate for this metabolic pathway.
