RO7845860 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody (T-cell engager) developed by Roche for the treatment of relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS). It is designed to target CD19 on B cells and CD3 on T cells, facilitating the recruitment and activation of T cells to eliminate CD19-positive B cells. This mechanism aims to achieve deep B-cell depletion, which is a validated therapeutic strategy in multiple sclerosis, potentially offering advantages over traditional CD20-targeting therapies by reaching a broader range of B-cell lineages. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for subcutaneous administration.
