ROBO1 CAR-NK cells are an investigational cell therapy consisting of natural killer (NK) cells genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the Roundabout homolog 1 (ROBO1) protein. ROBO1 is a cell surface receptor involved in axon guidance and cell migration that is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including pancreatic, lung, and liver cancers, while maintaining limited expression in normal tissues. By targeting ROBO1, these CAR-NK cells are designed to selectively recognize and eliminate tumor cells through direct cytotoxicity. Developed by Asclepius Technology Company Group (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., this therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for its safety and efficacy in patients with advanced ROBO1-positive solid tumors.
