Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RoboFlam DS is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication developed and marketed by Healthon Lifesciences in India. The formulation typically contains the proteolytic enzymes Bromelain and Trypsin, the flavonoid antioxidant Rutoside, and in some versions, Devil's claw extract. The enzymes work synergistically to reduce inflammation and edema by breaking down inflammatory mediators and fibrin, thereby improving blood circulation to the affected site. Rutoside acts as an antioxidant to neutralize reactive oxygen species and stabilize capillary walls, preventing further swelling. This medication is primarily used to manage musculoskeletal pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as for recovery from post-operative pain, sprains, and bone fractures.
