Rocatinlimab is a human monoclonal antibody that targets the OX40 receptor (CD134), a co-stimulatory molecule expressed on activated T cells. By binding to OX40, rocatinlimab inhibits and reduces pathogenic T cells involved in inflammatory responses, particularly in atopic dermatitis. It is being developed as a subcutaneous therapy for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and has shown significant efficacy in phase 2b and phase 3 clinical trials compared to placebo. Rocatinlimab is also under investigation for other immune-mediated diseases such as prurigo nodularis and asthma. The drug was originally discovered by Kyowa Kirin in collaboration with La Jolla Institute for Immunology and is now jointly developed by Amgen and Kyowa Kirin[1][2][4][5][7].
