Rocuronium + lidocaine is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents commonly used in anesthesia practice. Rocuronium is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent (muscle relaxant) of the aminosteroid class, primarily used to facilitate tracheal intubation and provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. Lidocaine is an amide-type local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic agent, often administered intravenously to reduce pain on injection of other drugs (such as rocuronium or propofol), blunt hemodynamic responses to intubation, and potentially enhance the effects of neuromuscular blockers.
