Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of two steroidal non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents that act synergistically during the early part of their action. This combination provides comparable conditions for tracheal intubation as an equipotent dose of rocuronium alone, with excellent intubation conditions achieved in a higher percentage of patients compared to either drug used individually. Both drugs work by competitively binding to nicotinic cholinergic receptors at the motor end plate, preventing muscle contraction.
