Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rodent bispecific antibody neutralizing DKK1 and sclerostin (rbsAb) is a preclinical surrogate bispecific antibody developed by Angitia Biopharmaceuticals. It simultaneously targets and neutralizes Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) and sclerostin, two key negative regulators of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway that suppress bone formation. By dual-targeting these proteins, rbsAb prevents the compensatory upregulation of one pathway when the other is inhibited, leading to a more robust anabolic bone response. In preclinical models, rbsAb has demonstrated efficacy in reducing spontaneous fractures, increasing bone mass, and improving bone structure and strength in mouse models of osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
