Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Romilia Gold is a fixed-dose combination capsule containing rosuvastatin (10 mg), clopidogrel (75 mg), and aspirin (75 mg). Developed and marketed by Primus Remedies, it is indicated for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes, in patients with established coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, or angina. Rosuvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor that lowers low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and stabilizes arterial plaques. Clopidogrel and aspirin are antiplatelet agents that work synergistically through distinct pathways to inhibit platelet aggregation and prevent the formation of harmful blood clots. This triple-action therapy simplifies treatment regimens and improves patient compliance in high-risk cardiovascular populations.
