ROR1-cFab is a novel **chimeric monoclonal antibody fragment** (Fab) specifically targeting the receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1)[1][3]. ROR1 is a transmembrane protein overexpressed in several cancers, notably ovarian cancer, and associated with tumor proliferation, migration, and poor prognosis[1]. ROR1-cFab was developed via fusion of mouse splenocytes (high ROR1 immune titers) with myeloma cells to produce a selective antibody fragment[1]. The antibody binds with high affinity to ROR1 on the surface of tumor cells, inhibiting cell proliferation and migration, and inducing apoptosis **exclusively in ROR1-positive cancer cells** in vitro and in vivo, with no effects on ROR1-negative cells[1][3].
