Rosinsulin R

Rosinsulin R is a short-acting, recombinant human insulin (regular insulin) developed and manufactured by the Russian pharmaceutical company Zavod Medsintez (Medsintez Plant LLC). Produced through biotechnological synthesis, the drug is identical in structure to endogenous human insulin and is designed to regulate blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. It acts as an agonist at the insulin receptor, stimulating peripheral glucose uptake in skeletal muscle and fat while simultaneously inhibiting hepatic glucose production. Rosinsulin R is indicated for the treatment of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus and can be administered via subcutaneous injection or, in acute clinical settings such as diabetic ketoacidosis, intravenously.
