Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rosurey Gold is a fixed-dose combination capsule containing rosuvastatin, clopidogrel, and aspirin. Developed and marketed by Sanrey Therapeutics, it is primarily used for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes, in patients with established cardiovascular disease, acute coronary syndrome, angina, or dyslipidemia. Rosuvastatin acts as an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor to lower LDL cholesterol and stabilize atherosclerotic plaques. Clopidogrel and aspirin function as antiplatelet agents, inhibiting P2Y12 receptors and cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) respectively, to prevent platelet aggregation and thrombus formation.
