Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rosuvastatin + ezetimibe + acetylsalicylic acid is a triple fixed-dose combination (FDC) small molecule therapy developed by Midas Pharma for the treatment of dyslipidemia. The product combines three established agents: rosuvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor that lowers LDL cholesterol by inhibiting hepatic cholesterol synthesis; ezetimibe, which inhibits the NPC1L1 transporter to reduce intestinal cholesterol absorption; and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), which provides antiplatelet effects via cyclooxygenase inhibition. This combination is designed as a substitution therapy to improve patient adherence and reduce pill burden in individuals already receiving these components as separate or dual-combination treatments. It is available in multiple dose strengths to allow for tailored lipid management and cardiovascular risk reduction.
