It works by inducing specific antibody responses to each component antigen[3][4]. - **OPV** (oral polio vaccine) contains live attenuated poliovirus strains that replicate in the gut and induce both humoral and mucosal immunity against poliomyelitis. These vaccines are co-administered to provide broad protection against several serious childhood diseases.
