Overview

**Rovaleucel** is an autologous T-cell immunotherapy engineered to target Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive tumor cells, utilizing EBV-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes expanded ex vivo for adoptive cell therapy. It is under investigation primarily for EBV-associated solid tumors, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma and various advanced cancers such as nasopharyngeal, gastric, and others. Developed through collaboration between Tessa Therapeutics and the National Cancer Centre of Singapore, it has reached Phase 2 trials in multiple oncology indications as of 2023, with ongoing Phase 1 studies reported in recruiting status.
