Rozfirst Gold is a fixed-dose combination cardiovascular medication marketed by Sinsan Pharmaceuticals. It contains three active ingredients: the antiplatelet agents aspirin and clopidogrel, and the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) rosuvastatin. Aspirin irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), while clopidogrel antagonizes the P2Y12 receptor, providing dual antiplatelet action to prevent thrombus formation. Rosuvastatin reduces hepatic cholesterol synthesis by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, thereby lowering LDL cholesterol levels. This combination is indicated for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke, particularly in patients with acute coronary syndrome, angina, or peripheral vascular disease who also require lipid management.
