Overview

RP01 is a novel anti-IgE immunotherapy developed as a therapeutic vaccine for allergic diseases. It works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against Immunoglobulin E (IgE), which is the key mediator of allergic reactions. These induced antibodies bind to IgE, blocking its ability to trigger allergic responses regardless of the allergen source (such as pollen, dust mites, foodstuffs, or pets). The drug has been investigated primarily for use in treating allergic reactions and asthma[1][2].
