Overview

RPH-001 is a biosimilar of bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). By binding to VEGF-A, it inhibits angiogenesis—the formation of new blood vessels—thereby restricting tumor growth and maintenance. RPH-001 is being developed for the treatment of various cancers including non-small cell lung cancer, recurrent or metastatic colon cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and glioblastoma. The drug is administered intravenously. It is being developed by Jiangsu Alphamab Biopharmaceuticals and R-Pharm[1][2][3].
