RPH-203

RPH-203 is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by R-Pharm as a biosimilar candidate for denosumab. It specifically targets the receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL), a key mediator of osteoclast formation, function, and survival. By binding to RANKL, RPH-203 prevents its interaction with the RANK receptor on the surface of osteoclasts and their precursors, thereby inhibiting bone resorption and increasing bone mineral density. The drug is primarily being developed for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis and the prevention of skeletal-related events in patients with bone metastases from solid tumors. Clinical development has included Phase I pharmacokinetic and safety studies in healthy volunteers, as well as Phase III trials to establish therapeutic equivalence to the reference product.
