Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The rPOC CAR-T product is a rapid point-of-care (rPOC) subcutaneous CAR-T cell therapy developed through a strategic collaboration between EXUMA Biotech and Moffitt Cancer Center. This innovative therapy targets CD19 and CD22 for the treatment of B cell malignancies. It is designed to significantly reduce the time from blood draw to injection to approximately six hours, eliminating the need for preparative chemotherapy, which addresses critical limitations of current CAR-T therapies for vulnerable cancer patients. Moffitt Cancer Center is responsible for engineering and validation runs, regulatory support, gene product characterization, analytical testing, and assisting with CMC documentation to support first-in-human studies.
