Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RPTR-3-001 is an investigational, preclinical-stage mRNA-based tolerizing vaccine being developed by Repertoire Immune Medicines for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes. Discovered using Repertoire's proprietary DECODE platform, which maps the immune synapse to identify disease-driving T-cell receptor (TCR)-epitope pairs, RPTR-3-001 is designed to restore immune tolerance and homeostasis. By delivering specific autoantigens in a non-inflammatory mRNA format, the therapy aims to reprogram autoreactive T cells and expand regulatory T cells (Tregs) to prevent the autoimmune destruction of pancreatic beta cells without causing systemic immunosuppression.
