RPX-101A is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of **soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH)** being developed by **Repoxegen Therapeutics**. The drug is designed to treat a variety of neurodegenerative and ophthalmic conditions by modulating the metabolism of epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs), which possess anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and neuroprotective properties. By inhibiting sEH, RPX-101A aims to stabilize EET levels, thereby reducing neuroinflammation and vascular leakage. Its primary indications include diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, and macular edema, as well as neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP).
