RQ-2400 is an mRNA-based cancer immunotherapy being developed by RNAcure for the treatment of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The therapeutic candidate is designed to deliver mRNA encoding specific EBV-related antigens into the patient's cells, prompting the expression of these viral proteins and subsequently triggering a robust, antigen-specific T-cell immune response against tumor cells. This approach aims to overcome the immune evasion mechanisms typically employed by EBV-positive malignancies. The program is currently in the early stages of development, utilizing RNAcure's proprietary mRNA and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery platforms.
