RRx-004

RRx-004 is a preclinical-stage small molecule being developed by EpicentRx for the treatment of hemorrhagic shock. It is a member of the dinitroazetidine class of compounds, which are designed to function as multi-target redox modulators. The mechanism of action for this class typically involves the inhibition of the NLRP3 inflammasome and the activation of the Nrf2 antioxidant pathway, alongside the potential donation of nitric oxide (NO) under hypoxic conditions.
