Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RS-003 is a preclinical small molecule drug candidate being developed by Redesign Science for the treatment of hematologic cancers. It is designed as a Targeted Protein Interaction Modulator (TPIM™) using the company's proprietary NUVO™ technology platform, which utilizes physics-based molecular dynamics to identify novel binding sites. RS-003 specifically targets an apoptotic factor to modulate protein-protein interactions involved in programmed cell death, with the goal of inducing apoptosis in malignant blood cells. As of early 2024, the program is in the hit-to-lead stage of preclinical development.
