Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RS-110 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by R-Pharm for the treatment of various cancers. It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting the Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. By binding to PD-1 on the surface of T-cells, RS-110 prevents the receptor from interacting with its ligands, PD-L1 and PD-L2, which are often exploited by tumor cells to suppress the immune response. This blockade restores and enhances the anti-tumor activity of the patient's own T-cells. RS-110 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, primarily being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors.
