Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RS_001 is a preclinical small molecule Targeted Protein Interaction Modulator (TPIM™) being developed by Redesign Science for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Discovered using the company's proprietary NUVO™ technology platform—which integrates physics-based molecular dynamics with machine learning—RS_001 is designed to target and modulate protein-protein interactions mediated by specific localization domains. By influencing the spatial distribution and functional activity of key proteins involved in the inflammatory cascade, RS_001 aims to provide a novel therapeutic approach for IBD patients. As of early 2024, the program is in the lead optimization stage of development.
