Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RSQ-020 (also known as RSQ-tau) is a brain-penetrant cyclic oligopeptide developed by ResQ Biotech as a pharmacological chaperone for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and other tauopathies. Designed using the company's CycloFOLDER macrocycle platform, RSQ-020 is engineered to prevent and reverse pathological tau misfolding and aggregation. In preclinical studies, the candidate has demonstrated the ability to disassemble tau fibrillar aggregates from human Alzheimer's and Pick's disease brains, as well as restore lifespan, learning, and memory in drosophila models of tauopathy.
