Overview
RSS0343 is a small molecule inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase 1 (DPP-1, also known as cathepsin C), developed for the treatment of immune system and respiratory diseases. Its primary mechanism is inhibition of DPP-1, an enzyme involved in the activation of neutrophil serine proteases that play a role in inflammatory processes. The drug was initially developed by Reistone Biopharma and is now being advanced by Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals. It is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis and asthma[1][4][5].
