Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RST-003 is a preclinical senolytic therapy being developed by RejuverSen, a portfolio company of Centenara Labs (formerly Rejuveron Life Sciences). The drug is designed to treat fibrotic conditions by selectively targeting and eliminating senescent cells. Senescent cells are characterized by a permanent arrest in cell division and the secretion of a pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic cocktail of factors known as the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP). By clearing these dysfunctional cells from tissues, RST-003 aims to reduce chronic inflammation, halt the progression of fibrosis, and potentially promote tissue regeneration. The specific molecular target and modality of RST-003 have not been publicly disclosed.
