Overview

RST-500 is a small molecule NMDA receptor (NMDAR) modulator specifically targeting the GluN2D subunit, currently in preclinical development by ReST Therapeutics. It is being investigated for 'Radiomize,' a radiotherapy-related indication. The drug is part of a molecular platform designed to address NMDAR overactivation in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative contexts. By selectively inhibiting or modulating the GluN2D subunit, RST-500 aims to provide neuroprotection and facilitate recovery from stress or injury associated with radiotherapy.
