Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RSV LID cp ΔM2-2 vaccine is a live-attenuated respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine candidate designed with specific genetic modifications. It features deletion of the RSV RNA regulatory protein M2-2 (ΔM2-2) combined with cold-passage (cp) mutations. The M2-2 deletion enhances immunogenicity by inhibiting viral RNA replication while promoting F and G protein expression on the RSV surface. This vaccine is administered intranasally as a single dose.
