RSV Memphis 37b (also referred to as RSV-A Memphis 37b) is a well-characterized wild-type respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) subtype A strain. It is primarily utilized as a challenge virus in controlled human infection (challenge) studies, where healthy adult volunteers are intranasally inoculated to deliberately induce a predictable, mild-to-moderate RSV infection.
