Overview

**RSVI-301** is a first-in-class miRNA-based therapeutic developed by RosVivo Therapeutics as an inhibitor of miR-10b (specifically targeting miR-10b-5p), functioning as an epigenetic modulator to address the root causes of type 2 diabetes (T2D) and related metabolic conditions. It restores pancreatic beta cell function for insulin secretion, reduces insulin resistance, and demonstrates efficacy in preclinical animal models for obesity, fatty liver (NAFLD), and gastrointestinal disorders, with advantages over GLP-1 receptor agonists including lower injection frequency, prolonged effects, and reduced side effects like GI dysmotility. Collaboration with Eli Lilly via MTA confirmed superior preclinical data, and it is positioned for potential expansion to COVID-19 treatment.[1][3][5][7][9]
