RTX001 is an engineered, autologous regenerative macrophage cell therapy developed by Resolution Therapeutics for the treatment of decompensated liver cirrhosis and end-stage liver disease. The therapy involves converting a patient's own white blood cells into macrophages that are further engineered to enhance their anti-fibrotic and anti-inflammatory properties. These modified macrophages are designed to promote tissue regeneration and reduce fibrosis in damaged livers. RTX001 is administered as a dispersion for infusion (intravenous).
