Overview

F520 (rulonilimab) is a recombinant humanized IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting the Programmed Cell Death Receptor-1 (PD-1), developed by Shandong New Time Pharmaceutical. It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking the PD-1 receptor, thereby preventing its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 and stimulating T lymphocyte-mediated anti-tumor responses. In the specific combination 'F520 + chemotherapy,' rulonilimab is administered alongside paclitaxel (a microtubule stabilizer) and carboplatin (a DNA alkylating agent). This combination is primarily being investigated as a first-line treatment for cancer of unknown primary (CUP) in a Phase II/III clinical trial, as well as in other advanced solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
