Rumex acetosella pollen is a non-standardized allergenic extract developed and distributed by ALK-Abello, Inc. The active ingredient, Rumex acetosella pollen (also known as sheep sorrel or sour dock pollen), is formulated as a percutaneous injection solution. [14] It is used for diagnostic purposes to establish the clinical relevance of specific allergens through skin testing in patients with suspected hay fever or allergic rhinitis related to sheep sorrel pollen exposure.
