Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rupikang is a Chinese Patent Medicine (CPM) developed and manufactured by Dalian Aosen Pharmaceutical (and its subsidiary Dalian Mingsen Pharmaceutical). It is an oral capsule formulation primarily indicated for the treatment of mammary gland hyperplasia (fibrocystic breast changes), mastalgia (breast pain), and breast nodules. In the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is used to 'soften hardness and dissipate knots' by addressing phlegm-dampness and qi stagnation. Pharmacologically, Rupikang is believed to regulate the endocrine system, specifically by modulating the balance between estrogen and progesterone, thereby inhibiting the pathological proliferation of mammary tissue. Its herbal composition typically includes ingredients such as *Laminaria japonica*, *Prunella vulgaris*, and *Astragalus membranaceus*.
