Overview

Ruserontinib, also known by its code name SKLB1028, is an orally active small molecule multikinase inhibitor developed by CSPC ZhongQi Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. It exerts its antineoplastic activity by specifically binding to and inhibiting Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR), FMS-like Tyrosine Kinase 3 (FLT3), and the non-receptor tyrosine kinase ABL (Abl). This inhibition disrupts the signal transduction pathways mediated by these kinases, thereby reducing the proliferation of cancer cells that overexpress EGFR, FLT3, and/or Abl. Preclinical and clinical studies have shown its efficacy, particularly in FLT3-driven Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) harboring Abl mutations.
