RV-1770

RV-1770 is an investigational mRNA-based vaccine developed for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. The vaccine utilizes a unique AI-enhanced mRNA sequence design based on a recent RSV clinical isolate and is delivered via a proprietary polypeptide lipid nanoparticle (PLNP) carrier. It is administered intramuscularly and has demonstrated immunogenic responses and neutralization against both type A and B strains of RSV in preclinical studies. The vaccine is currently in Phase I clinical trials, targeting both younger adults (18–49 years) and older adults (60–79 years), with the goal of providing effective prophylaxis against RSV, which causes significant morbidity worldwide[1][2][3][5][7].
