RV-scFv-PDL1

RV-scFv-PDL1 is an oncolytic virus candidate developed by Protheragen for the treatment of various cancers. The therapeutic is engineered to express a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). This dual-action approach combines the direct tumor-lytic properties of the oncolytic virus with the localized expression of a checkpoint inhibitor to overcome immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment. By targeting PD-L1, the scFv prevents the interaction between PD-1 on T cells and PD-L1 on tumor cells, thereby enhancing the anti-tumor immune response. The project is currently in the preclinical stage of development and is listed as an available project for licensing or co-development.
