Rveiling is a bio-stimulatory facial filler developed by Aowita Biotech, composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) microspheres and polyethylene glycol (PEG). It is designed for the correction of facial volume loss and the treatment of deep wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds. Unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers that provide immediate volume through physical filling, Rveiling works by stimulating the body's natural collagen production. Upon injection into the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue, the PLLA microspheres act as a scaffold, triggering a sub-clinical inflammatory response that recruits macrophages and activates fibroblasts. These fibroblasts subsequently deposit new endogenous collagen (primarily Type I), leading to a gradual and long-lasting improvement in skin thickness and volume. The integration of PEG into the formulation is intended to improve the hydrophilicity and suspension stability of the PLLA particles, facilitating a smoother injection process and potentially reducing the incidence of post-injection nodules compared to traditional PLLA formulations.
