RXDX-103

RXDX-103 is an investigational small-molecule inhibitor of cell division cycle 7-related protein kinase (CDC7), a serine/threonine kinase essential for initiation of DNA replication and cell-cycle progression in proliferating cells.[3][9] By targeting CDC7, RXDX-103 was designed as an antineoplastic agent to impair DNA replication in tumor cells and thereby inhibit cancer cell proliferation.[3][9] The compound originated from Nerviano Medical Sciences and was later part of Ignyta’s/Roche’s early oncology pipeline, but development was discontinued in the preclinical stage and it has not advanced into human clinical trials or regulatory approval.[3][6][10][13]
