Overview

S-488210 is an oncoantigen-derived peptide cancer vaccine developed as an injectable immunotherapy for the treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and other solid tumors. It consists of a combination of HLA-A*02:01-restricted epitope peptides derived from cancer-testis antigens, designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells. The vaccine is administered subcutaneously and has been studied both alone and in combination with other agents such as durvalumab. Its mechanism of action is immunostimulation via presentation of tumor-associated antigenic peptides to cytotoxic T lymphocytes, thereby enhancing anti-tumor immune responses[1][3][4][6].
