Overview

S-CW3554 is an irreversible, selective inhibitor of protein disulfide isomerase (PDI). It contains a 2-chloropropionamide functionality, allowing it to covalently and selectively label and inhibit PDI enzymatic activity. This compound has demonstrated unique cytotoxicity in cell lines derived from multiple myeloma, suggesting research interest in its potential anti-cancer effects and in targeting cellular protein-folding homeostasis. It is classified as a synthetic small molecule probe for research or early-stage pharmaceutical development, but is not widely documented in public therapeutic or commercial databases[1][4][7].
